"He is an excellent accompanist, being a skilled pianist, and a good sight-reader. His own experience as a singer gives him particular skills as an accompanist; he is sensitive to the nuances of soloists."
(Dr Peter King - Organist and Director of Music, Bath Abbey)
"...extremely good with singers, because he understands the text of the songs and feels the words with them."
(Margaret Thomas)
Mark has many years of experience accompanying soloists and ensembles of all sizes and abilities, from ABRSM Grade Examinations and Music Festivals to an open air concert given on the famous Clifton College Close before an audience of thousands.
He is happy to play for examinations, lessons or public recitals. His rates are usually in the region of £30 - £60 per hour (depending upon the complexity of the work) plus travel expenses for venues 20 miles or more from Warwick.
